Rate: £650 to £700 per day

The Role:
A leading Government client is seeking to appoint a Senior Developer, to provide Technical Leadership and set the technical direction, for highly motivated and talented development teams. The role would be London based and active DV Clearance is required. 6-month initial contract (extendable).
Essential Criteria:
- Significant experience of modern development languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go etc) with code written to a common standard.
- Able to lead and mentor development teams.
- Infrastructure as Code.
- Cloud technologies (either AWS, GCP, Azure).
- Expertise in translating user requirements into technical requirements.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and able to communicate with Clients, Senior Management, and software engineers.
- Experience of using Kubernetes and/or OpenShift as a deployment platform and day-to-day development environment.
- Understanding of and experience with Modern DevOps methodology and technologies.
- Automation/configuration management (i.e., Ansible).
