Your mission

Responsibilities And Tasks

Project Implementation:
- Responsible for the overall coordination and implementation of the project in the West Bank and Gaza, including risk assessment and management, and leads the coordination between local and international consortium partners on a day-to-day basis.
- Oversee the execution of project activities according to the agreed-upon plans, timelines, and budgets.
- Coordinate with project staff, partners, and stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation and timely delivery of assistance.
- Monitor project progress in both West Bank and Gaza, identify risks and challenges, and take proactive measures to address them.
- Represent the project in different coordination and reflection meetings with the project consortium, partners, and different stakeholders.
- Identify and prioritize programmatic needs and ensure that the project/s addresses those needs.
- Liaise with the MEAL unit to facilitate systematic program monitoring and evaluation in place; ensure that lessons learned are documented and shared for learning.
- Provide feedback to the program manager and partners to determine programmatic changes in response to monitoring results.
- Collects and consolidates narrative reports.
- Identify strategic program opportunities, approaches, modalities for strengthening PSS (Psychosocial Support), Protection, education programming in close collaboration with partners & Program Manager.
- Identify & follow up on strategic influencing opportunities related directly or indirectly to target areas of projects or linking various local/national/international influencing trajectories.
- Ensure visibility of projects/activities with relevant national/international audiences.

Participate & support preparation of procurement plans:
- Purchase requests
- Payments
- Tracking sheets ensuring alignment with project needs/timelines.

Collaborate with finance team:
- Update expense forecasts
- Ensure budget accuracy.

Review monthly project expenses:
- Work closely with Finance Team.

Support overseeing/reviewing financial reports from partners:
- Ensure compliance/accuracy working closely with finance team.

Compliance And Risk Management:
Ensure that all activities are implemented according to War Child's mission/values/code of conduct. Adhere strictly to donor guidelines/reporting requirements including financial/narrative reporting. Ensure all expenditures are eligible/properly documented. Conduct risk assessments at beginning & regularly throughout lifecycle; develop risk management plans mitigating identified risks including strategies for prevention/mitigation/response.

Your profile

Knowledge And Experience:
Relevant academic degree in education/social sciences or related field is required. Minimum 5 years relevant employment experience in consortium project management including planning/implementation/manage/m/e/reporting experience required. Proven work experience managing grants specifically EU/ECHO Projects is essential; demonstrated experience effectively coordinating multiple partners/stakeholders (including government agencies/donors). Experience managing protection/pyschosocial support focused projects preferred; strong technical experience psychosocial support preferred as well as demonstrated track record successful program management required along providing technical assistance national/governmental partner/project staff regarding psychosocial support/emergency responses participation education child protection etc.; demonstrated ability collecting/integrating/disseminating learnings also necessary alongside previous community-based programming experiences preferred along leading/managing teams effectively while possessing good understanding Palestinian context.

Skills And Competencies:
Strong communication skills essential alongside fluency Arabic/English required; strong spoken/written English skills demonstrating reporting ability necessary too alongside demonstrated financial management skills flexibility cultural sensitivity attention detail strong follow-up capabilities team-oriented mindset able work efficiently independently proficient Microsoft Office applications such as word processing/spreadsheets etc..
