Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Legal Project Manager to manage Request for Proposal (RFP) processes and legal due diligence for loan contract reviews, supporting regulatory change programs such as LIBOR transition or MiFID. This role requires expertise in navigating regulatory frameworks, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work with senior stakeholders to prepare papers for board-level discussions.
Key Responsibilities
RFP Management & Due Diligence:
- Lead and manage end-to-end RFP processes including contract negotiation.
- Collaborate with legal, procurement, and business teams to ensure alignment and compliance.
- Develop and manage project timelines ensuring milestones are met.
- Prepare and present reports and presentations for senior management.
- Recommend contracts for legal review managing stakeholder communication.
Stakeholder Management:
- Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders.
- Address concerns, manage expectations, influence change outcomes.
- Track interdependencies between workstreams teams.
Leadership & Teamwork:
- Take ownership of project plans deliverables across teams.
- Resolve design delivery issues providing leadership to team members.
- Collaborate in a Matrix structure managing priorities performance.
Operational Effectiveness & Control:
- Identify manage operational risks ensuring governance compliance.
- Work with risk governance functions tracking issues dependencies.
- Ensure compliance with Change Framework project controls.
Ideal Candidate Profile
Proven experience in RFP processes legal due diligence within financial services.
Expertise in loan contract review regulatory change programs (LIBOR MiFID).
Strong written verbal communication skills.
Exceptional organizational time-management leadership abilities.
Proficiency in preparing high-quality documentation for senior stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple priorities work effectively under pressure.
