Description
Senior C++ Developer (Equity Derivatives Trading) required by large Investment Bank, based in London (HYBRID Working) to provide senior-level technology expertise in the continued development of their trading Equity Derivatives trading platform. You will work on key trading systems during trading hours. There are currently no software developers for the trading platform in EMEA. You will work directly with the Front Office and support permanent business expansion in EMEA region.
Responsibilities:
- Implement services for trading such as market data, order management, messaging layer, security reference data systems, position keeping systems, and services for user interfaces (C++, Python)
- Work with quants, traders, and other stakeholders to design, implement and test technology used in trading
Skills:
- Solid experience of building high performance, low-latency systems on Linux platform
- Solid knowledge and skills in C++ programming.
- Must have ability to use the right construct for the problem and not introduce unnecessary complexity for the sake of using a new C++ construct.
- Develop maintainable software.
- Proficiency with Linux platform
- Basic script, such as Python and database query coding is required
- Previous experience working within a Front Office Trading environment
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to work in fast-paced environments delivering quality solutions
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills
- Solid understanding of Unix (some Scripting languages on Unix Platform)
- Strong grasp of Databases/SQL
- Significant industrial experience dedicated to FX Front Office technology (pricing, risk, liquidity aggregation, high frequency trading, E-commerce, etc)
Nice to have:
- Experience with DevOps (Jenkins, etc).
- Experience with Web Services such as Flask, React JS etc.
