About the Role:
A leading contractor is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee a high-profile re-cladding project in London. The role involves managing site operations, ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards, and driving project completion on time and within budget. With the potential for further projects following successful delivery, this is a great opportunity to secure a long-term role with a reputable firm.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the re-cladding project, ensuring high-quality workmanship and adherence to safety regulations.
- Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and direct labour on-site.
- Implement and maintain health & safety protocols in line with CDM regulations.
- Lead site meetings and coordinate construction phases effectively.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Site Manager, ideally on re-cladding, façade, or external envelope projects.
- SMSTS, CSCS (Black/Gold), and First Aid at Work qualifications.
- Experience managing high-rise residential or commercial buildings is preferred.
- Excellent knowledge of H&S regulations, RAMS, and quality control.
- IT literate, with experience using project management software for reporting and record-keeping.
- Experience working with Tier 1 contractors or specialist façade/cladding firms.
