Summarized Purpose:
Evidera is seeking a Sr Account Director, Business Development with proven business development, client management, and stakeholder management skills to drive the success of the consulting practice areas. Evidera provides strategic support to executives at leading Biopharmaceutical, Medical Device, and Health IT companies. Our work leverages scientific research, data analysis, and extensive experience to support critical commercial and development decisions for pharmaceutical product strategy and opportunity assessment.
Essential Functions:
- Client Account & Relationship Management
- Client Account Development to drive new business opportunities across consulting practice areas
- Drive Client Account strategy through strategic account planning in partnership with scientific research delivery teams
- Collaborate with sales operations, finance, legal and other internal support functions
Qualifications:
This role requires consultative sales activities directed at decision-makers at existing/new client contacts. Proactively find opportunities including defining solutions/recommending pricing structures. Serve as primary contact until project KO; coordinate with relevant business area(s) for successful implementation.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant qualification
- Previous experience comparable to 5+ years or equivalent combination of education/training/experience
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities:
- Scientific/sales/marketing background concentrated in pharmaceutical/biotech area
- Proven track record of developing mid/high-level business contacts
- Excellent interpersonal skills for managing relationships across Operations/Finance/Marketing
- Demonstrated experience identifying/developing sales leads/making presentations/managing sales process
Management Role:
No current management responsibility but could extend in the future
Working Conditions And Environment:
Work is performed in an office environment with exposure to electrical office equipment; occasional drives/site visits; occasional domestic/international travel.
