Role Overview:
The Research Scientist will be part of the Bioperformance group within the Bioscience function in Crop Protection, conducting research on the ADME (Absorption, Distribution, Metabolism, and Excretion) behaviour of active ingredients in target species to understand critical performance characteristics.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively providing scientific and technical support to assess the bioavailability of novel fungicides through in vivo studies in fungi and plants.
- Maintaining plant cell cultures.
- Interpreting and analysing data.
- Implementing HSE (Health, Safety, and Environment) actions to ensure operations meet defined standards.
- Reviewing and enhancing established protocols or methodologies to improve capacity and efficiency.
Qualifications:
- BSc or MSc in Microbiology, Plant Science, or a related field.
- At least 1-2 years of laboratory-based experience.
- Effective scientific writing, verbal communication, and organizational skills.
- Demonstrated experience in culturing microorganisms.
