Overview
As a Senior Regional Community Operations Manager - Rides UK, you will have a unique opportunity to manage cross-functional projects and improve operations through data analysis, operational excellence, project management, and cross-functional teamwork. Reporting into the Program Lead, Safety & Compliance - UK Community Operations (“CommOps”), you will play a key role in the strategy and execution of improvements to our driver identity and safety processes and operations to ensure client remains a safe and compliant platform for all our users. You will help launch industry-leading technology that will scale globally within Client. You will focus on building scalable compliance processes while also maintaining a laser focus on building great customer experiences.
Role Description
This is a business operations role with strong data orientation, where solid stakeholder management is required of local and global teams. You are expected to be a strong thought partner to global and regional leadership on the best approach for operationalizing Clients safety and identity compliance strategies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage regulatory critical projects across the UK Safety and Identity Compliance program.
- Look for opportunities to make existing processes more efficient and identify opportunities to continue building industry leading compliance processes.
- Leverage data to analyse the end-to-end performance of current operations, identify opportunities for improvement, define technical requirements, and work with a cross-functional team of experts to drive those projects to completion.
- Lead on global and regional programs across the partner identity, safety and compliance product roadmap for CommOps in the UK.
- Foster a culture of “safety first” and “doing the right thing” within Client Operations by setting the right tone from the top.
Example Projects
Example projects might include: scaling document approval tech solutions like optical character recognition (OCR), analysing success metrics, working with product teams to improve accuracy rates; or analysing existing compliance processes, challenging the status quo, recommending process improvements to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Qualifications
Experience: 5+ years hands-on management of functions that include business operations, continuous improvement, analytics, or project management. Experience working in a regulated environment is preferred.
Business Acumen: Strong business judgement with critical thinking skills; ability to use data effectively for prioritization.
Analytical Skills: Ability to turn data into insight; SQL experience is essential.
Stakeholder Management: This role requires leading with influence across several teams including senior leaders.
Executional Excellence: Ability to navigate ambiguity/complexity while operationalizing process change.
