Location: Holborn (Hybrid)
Length: 12-month Industrial Placement

Job Role: Account Executive Industrial Placement

Role & Responsibilities
As an Account Executive Industrial Placement student you will be reporting into the Channel Controller; you’ll support in driving the strategic direction and growth of the Elida Beauty Value Channel in the UK. Your role will include supporting existing customer accounts and the development of new business opportunities within the channel. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including marketing, customer-facing, finance, and supply chain, to ensure the successful execution of projects that contribute to our long-term growth vision.

Responsibilities
External Engagement:
- Help build relationships with retailers beyond just the buying teams.
- Support in the execution of JBP’s, adapting strategies as needed.
- Engage in volume planning and manage trade spend effectively.
- Ensure all retailer admin is completed in full and in a timely manner.

Internal Support:
- Analyse promotional/EPOS outcomes to inform future strategies.
- Participate in sales forecasting processes.
- Monitor and report on sales data, customer contribution, and market share.

Stakeholder Interaction:
Internal: Work with Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance teams.
External: Engage with partners like Poundland, B&M and Clearance houses.

What We’re Looking For:
- Currently enrolled in a degree program; preferably in Business, Sales or Marketing.
- Interest sales or customer management.
- Basic understanding of sales targets and margin goals.
- Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
- Eagerness to learn about negotiation and business development.
- Interest in or knowledge of the beauty & personal care industry.
- Someone with a proactive attitude & drive to achieve results.
- A keen learner; curious about customer needs.
- Team-oriented with positive outlook on challenges.

Insights & Analytics
- Assist in category brand performance reporting & analysis
- Assist Shopper Insight projects
- Analysis of sales data

Strategy & Vision
- Assist monitoring changes
- Assist key accounts team
- Assist category range reviews

Operations
- Supporting team lead finance
- Activity planning

Other day-to-day ad hoc as required by team lead

What We’re Looking For:
Candidates taking Business Economics Management Finance or Accounting modules within their degrees are preferred
Analytical numeric skills strong attention to detail
Self-starter attitude take ownership initiative
Able to work independently minimum supervision
Excellent interpersonal communication skills
Good working knowledge Microsoft Excel PowerPoint
A willingness learn/be trained category management skills/programmes
