QA Engineer - AI Technology Exp
London - Onsite 3 days a week
6 month initial contract
OUTSIDE OF IR35
£400 PER DAY
My client is looking for a QA Engineer to join their team and contribute towards the development of an innovative new product, leveraging AI technologies, including Natural Language Processing and machine learning.
As the QA Engineer, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality, compliance, and performance of the application and underlying infrastructure (including data pipelines and ML infrastructure) by developing and executing comprehensive test tooling/infrastructure, plans, and test cases.
Main Accountabilities:
Collaborate with the product owner and development team to understand and feed into product requirements, features, and compliance needs in respect to quality.
Develop, in collaboration with the product team and other stakeholders (eg compliance, equality, risk), detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test strategy, plans, and test cases ensuring compliance and quality.
Implement required QA tooling and infrastructure. While you will be expected to lead on this, this will be a collaboration with the infrastructure engineer and developers.
Perform various types of testing such as functional, regression, exploratory, performance, usability, and compliance testing.
Identify areas for test automation and work with engineers to build and maintain a set of automated tests which balance quality with supporting continuous delivery.
Identify, document, and track bugs and defects throughout the development process.
Collaborate with the product owner and cross-functional teams to ensure consistent product quality, compliance, and alignment with user needs and requirements.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of CI/CD, compliance, and quality processes.
Stay up to date with new developments in software testing, compliance standards, and relevant tools and technologies.
Key Skills & Experiences
Extensive QA Experience
Testing AI technology experience - including Natural Language Processing and machine learning.
Experience of Chat Bots, especially using voice
Testing in a AWS Environment
CI/CD processes and tools.
