About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in Fire and Electrical systems within data centre environments. This role requires an individual who can manage projects related to fire exposure timelines, fire stopping, emergency lighting, and other critical electrical works while maintaining a client-facing approach to ensure seamless communication and project execution.
Key Responsibilities:
* Oversee the planning and execution of fire and electrical projects within data centres.
* Ensure projects adhere to strict fire safety regulations and electrical compliance standards.
* Manage fire exposure timelines, fire stopping, emergency lighting, and electrical infrastructure.
* Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring their requirements are met and expectations managed effectively.
* Coordinate with engineers, contractors, and regulatory bodies to maintain high-quality standards.
* Develop and maintain project timelines, budgets, and risk assessments.
* Ensure all work aligns with health & safety regulations and best practices in the industry.
* Report regularly on project progress, issues, and financial performance to senior management.
Required Experience & Skills:
* Proven experience as a Project Manager in Fire & Electrical works within data centre environments.
* Strong knowledge of fire safety regulations, fire stopping measures, emergency lighting, and electrical systems.
* Experience managing projects from inception to completion, including risk mitigation and budget control.
* Excellent client-facing and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly.
* Familiarity with industry standards and compliance requirements.
* Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
* Relevant project management qualifications (e.g., PRINCE2, PMP) are desirable.
