Company Overview
A Healthcare specialist IT consultancy is in need of a Cost Improvement Programme Practitioner to onboard within the team to service current Healthcare client base.

Role Purpose
In order to drive the service changes and savings required to achieve the Health Board's Cost Improvement Programme (CIP), you will report to the Principle Project Manager within the PMO. You will work closely with senior managers and clinicians across the Health Board to plan and implement specific projects within the Programme Management Office CIP Programme. The candidate should be able to demonstrate success in managing complex service changes involving engagement with multiple stakeholders. We are looking for a skilled and enthusiastic individual who can embrace the pace of transformational change required by the Health Board to achieve a challenging CIP savings Programme. In return, the post holder will join a new forward-thinking and ambitious team focusing on delivery and how we can achieve better outcomes.

Main Duties of the Job
- This is an opportunity for an experienced Project or Service Manager to lead on a range of service improvement projects and service development initiatives driven by the Health Board's Cost Improvement Programme (CIP).
- Working as part of the Programme Management Office, this role supports Transformation of care across several NHS end-clients. The role will support delivery on various Major Healthcare programmes.
- The post holder will promote innovation and best practice in bringing about service change in support of national priorities and drivers while being responsive to local health and social care needs.
- Working closely with Senior managers, other Clinical Boards, and external stakeholders, you will co-ordinate, develop, and implement projects designed to transform health services delivery in line with required CIP's. Organisational boundaries will be key for project implementation facilitating transformed models of service delivery.
- Collaborating alongside other Project or Service Managers, you will be responsible for producing project initiation documents, project plans, risk registers, documentation, and reports as required throughout each project's life cycle.

Essential Qualifications & Experience
• Healthcare CIP experience
• Project Management Practitioner Qualification (e.g., PRINCE2) or equivalent experience
• Evidence of continuing professional development

Knowledge Requirements
Essential:
• Change management methodologies (e.g., LEAN - formal or informal)
• Knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring, controlling projects (e.g., PRINCE2)
Desirable:
• Knowledge of Financial procedures/policies in large Healthcare Public Sector organisations

Experience Requirements
Essential:
• Evidence working within health partnerships with local authorities/third sector organisations at operational/strategic levels
• Experience managing change successfully
• Experience developing/implementing strategic plans
• Understanding delivery milestones; implementing project plan actions/tasks
• Managing portfolios/projects ranging in complexity; escalation/responses
• Implementing service developments based on policy/targets
• General understanding healthcare governance/performance management/improvement NHS
• Working with public/patients/service users
• Managing change within NHS
• Working finance practices/budgets/financial systems
