Contract Details
- Duration: 8-month contract
- Location: Leatherhead, Surrey
- Competitive hourly pay rate
- Outside IR35 work engagement
- Hybrid working: 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Skills / Experience Required
- Detailed engineering phase of projects, particularly in handling packages.
- Assist in designing process control systems based on DCS, ESD, and FGS systems.
- Contribute to the development of I&C design deliverables including P&IDs, Instrument List, Instrument Specifications, and Instrument Data Sheets.
- Work in the detailed engineering phase of projects with a focus on handling packages.
- Assist in the design of process control systems based on DCS, PLC, and SCADA.
- Collaborate with client counterparts and vendors to interface control systems and new packages.
- Support risk assessments such as Safety Integrity Level (SIL), Layer of Protection Analysis (LOPA), and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).
- Prepare technical requisitions and conduct bid evaluations.
- Assist in the development of Safety Requirement Specifications (SRS) demonstrating working knowledge of IEC 61508 & IEC 61511.
- Perform assigned automation-related job functions including creation of I/O lists, Instrumentation lists; specification of instrumentation; control elements interface with Electrical systems; MCC review wiring diagrams; knowledge in SPI.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in Brownfield offshore projects.
- Experience working with multiple centers.
- Preference will be given to candidates familiar with BP standards and work processes.
