Job Purpose:
The Senior Windows Engineer will serve as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Windows desktop environments, managing and optimizing Windows 10 and 11 operating systems. This role involves technical leadership in system updates, deployments, and support, as well as participation in key projects such as Unified Endpoint Management, cybersecurity enhancements, and hardware refreshes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain Windows 10 and 11 operating systems.
- Oversee OS updates, security patches, and software deployments using SCCM and Workspace ONE.
- Develop and automate processes using PowerShell Scripting.
- Collaborate with support teams to resolve complex technical issues.
- Lead and contribute to projects, including endpoint management integration and hardware refreshes.
Key Skills and Experience:
- Advanced knowledge of Windows 10 and 11 desktop operating systems.
- Expertise in SCCM and PowerShell Scripting.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Proven experience with Microsoft product environments.
- Knowledge of Workspace ONE (desirable).
