Job Opportunity: Interim Senior Auditor
Are you a seasoned auditor ready to make an immediate impact? We are seeking an Interim Senior Auditor to join our team for an initial six-week engagement. This role offers a unique opportunity to provide independent assurance on governance, risk management, and control processes while collaborating with key stakeholders across the organisation.
Your Role and Key Responsibilities
As an Interim Senior Auditor, you will:
- Conduct financial, operational, and compliance audits, including special projects.
- Assist in planning and scoping audit engagements by identifying key risks, controls, and regulatory requirements.
- Document processes, identify control weaknesses, and perform root cause analyses.
- Prepare insightful audit reports and support presentations to senior management.
- Monitor and follow up on corrective actions, escalating issues as needed.
- Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and compliance throughout the organisation.
What We're Looking For
To excel in this role, you will have:
- Proven experience in audit roles, with a strong understanding of risk and controls methodologies.
- Knowledge of internal controls and risk management frameworks.
- Exceptional project management, communication, and relationship-building skills.
- The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience in a similar industry and exposure to ITGC (a plus).
- A relevant degree and professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA or equivalent.
