We have a wide Procurement team at United Lincolnshire Teaching Hospitals, comprising:

- Supply Chain/Materials Management Team
Newly Created Inventory Management System Team
We have a newly created Inventory Management System Team which resides under the Deputy Head of Supply Chain and works alongside the Supply Chain Team.
Position Overview
We are seeking to appoint the IMS Senior Business Change Manager to work as part of this newly formed team and to assist the procurement vision to deliver a state-of-the-art Inventory Management System. The IMS Senior Business Change Manager will play an active role in supporting the management and delivery of the new Inventory Management System (IMS) project in support of the Trust's business and service objectives.
Responsibilities
Support the IMS Project Manager (Deputy Head of Supply Chain) in delivering:
- The procurement, development, and implementation of the IMS
- The negotiation of contracts and in certain instances, management of contract performance
- Ensuring that organisational change drives project requirements
- Supporting on BAU provisions post IMS implementation
- Providing managerial support and leadership to the Business Change Manager
Operational Requirements
This role will require operational working at all Trust sites. Earliest start date for this role is 1st April 2024.
Candidate Profile
We are searching for a hard-working individual who is looking for an exciting new challenge and wants to be part of the new Inventory Management System rollout at ULTH. You will be responsible for management, development, and leadership of the IMS Business Change Manager. You will support the Deputy Head of Supply Chain in setting strategies for deploying inventory management systems across various stock control areas while working closely with:
- Head of Supply Chain
- Materials Management site managers
- Fellow clinical, non-clinical, and operational procurement teams
Scope Of Work
The scope of operational work managed by this team is significant – encompassing full rollout and maintenance of an inventory management system across ULTH. The department already maintains high standards in stock management across all areas from Theatres to A&E but aims to revolutionize current methodologies to transform control over consumables entering and leaving hospitals.
Team Objectives
This newly created team will lead support for internal stakeholders by managing:
1. The inventory system
2. The e-catalogue
3. Enacting meaningful operational changes
Goals include generating ideas for savings and service improvement while ensuring alignment with Trust values.
