Job Title: Lead PMO Manager
Contract Type: Outside IR35
Duration: 12 months
Rate: Up to £550 per day
Location: Worthing (1-2 days per week on-site)
Responsibilities:
- Set up and establish a PMO function to manage project delivery and budgets for a major IT services transformation project.
- Take a hands-on, proactive approach to driving project success rather than delegating tasks.
- Oversee and coordinate all aspects of the PMO, ensuring effective governance, reporting, and controls are in place.
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to align the PMO with strategic objectives.
- Provide leadership, guidance and support to project teams.
Requirements:
- Proven experience setting up and running a PMO function on large-scale transformation programmes.
- Strong background in IT services/projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills with ability to engage at all levels.
