Role Overview
Our client is an acquisitive operator of energy assets onshore and offshore. It is currently undergoing a significant transition and acquiring UK assets. We seek an interim Training Manager to support the UK's senior leadership team as new acquisitions are merged into the current business.
Responsibilities
- Create training strategies and plans for merged assets.
- Support day-to-day training activities.
- Work with field managers, drilling, operations, and IT to create and deliver training initiatives and projects.
Key Requirements
- Must have Oil and Gas knowledge.
- Budget, plan, and contract to acquire the resources necessary for training.
- Manage logistics to effectively deliver programs.
- Embed a culture within the leadership that aids progression toward becoming a true 'Learning Organisation'.
- Assist department managers and SMEs to identify technical and soft skills development requirements.
- Establish short-term and longer-term prioritised development programs.
- Evaluate results and drive continuous improvement in all training/development initiatives.
- Coordinate mentoring from third-party contractors and service companies into development programs.
- Provide management oversight plus coaching, systems, and procedures to develop local training coordinators.
- Streamline procedures for training delivery.
