Overview
Our client, an organisation undergoing a significant business transformation and change programme, is seeking an experienced Senior Business Change Lead to provide immediate support and expertise. This transformation involves transitioning multiple services and service centres, with a focus on ensuring programme success through effective change leadership, integrated planning, and stakeholder engagement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the redefinition of the programme's change strategy and approach, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Conduct a thorough assessment of the current programme structure and propose enhancements to drive improved outcomes.
- Collaborate with teams across the organisation, embedding robust change management principles into day-to-day activities.
- Re-engage and align the leadership team, driving a unified approach to programme goals.
- Establish and operationalise a governance framework, ensuring accountability and effective decision-making.
- Support the implementation of business change tools, processes, and stakeholder management plans.
- Report progress, risks, and key issues to senior leadership, including the COO and CEO, on a regular cadence.
- Facilitate the development of an integrated programme roadmap and track progress against milestones.
Key Deliverables
- Re-established programme outcomes aligned with overarching business objectives.
- Governance model and clear roles and accountabilities for all stakeholders.
- Progress tracking against an integrated business change roadmap.
- Stakeholder management plan implemented to drive engagement and buy-in.
- Consistent reporting to the Programme Steering Board, COO, and CEO.
- Operational PMO processes and controls embedded across the programme.
What We're Looking For
- Extensive experience leading business change initiatives within complex transformation programmes.
- Strong understanding of change management methodologies, governance frameworks, and stakeholder engagement strategies.
- Proven ability to drive alignment and clarity in ambiguous and fast-paced environments.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
- Hands-on expertise in implementing and operationalising programme and change management processes.
Compensation and Details
- Rate: £500 per day (Outside IR35)
- Duration: 3 months initially (potential for extension)
- Location: Remote (occasional travel to London or Bristol)
