Position: Clinical Pharmacist (Band 8a)
Location: NHS Hospital, Kent
Contract: Full-Time (5 days per week)
Start Date: ASAP
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality clinical pharmacy services to various hospital departments.
- Conducting medication reviews and optimizing pharmaceutical care.
- Providing expert advice and guidance to medical and nursing staff on pharmaceutical matters.
- Ensuring safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medications in the hospital.
- Supporting the management of inpatient and outpatient prescriptions, including clinical interventions.
- Leading and mentoring junior pharmacy staff when required.
Essential Criteria:
- Minimum 2 years of NHS hospital pharmacy experience in a clinical setting.
- Registered Pharmacist with the GPhC.
- Excellent clinical knowledge and the ability to make informed decisions in a hospital setting.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Proven experience in providing a high level of patient-centered pharmaceutical care.
