Key Skills & Responsibilities:
As a Software Engineer, you will:
- Be highly proficient in JavaScript, React, CSS, and Node.js
- Have a strong understanding of accessibility standards (a11y)
- Be experienced in optimising browser performance and writing efficient, high-performance code
- Thrive in fast-moving environments, managing multiple tasks and adapting to change
- Have hands-on experience with automated testing and TDD
- (Desirable) Have worked with video and multimedia technologies
- (Desirable) Have experience mentoring or coaching other developers
- Enjoy working collaboratively within a team environment
- Be eager to learn and contribute positively to the team's success
- Take ownership of technical documentation, ensuring clarity and accuracy
Experience & Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Software Engineer, ideally within media-related projects.
Strong knowledge of software development frameworks, methodologies, and best practices.
Experience providing mentorship and technical leadership.
Ability to work collaboratively and align development with business needs.
Familiarity with software development tools and emerging technologies.
A proactive analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills.
