Cititec Talent has partnered with a leading global commodities firm to find a highly skilled Lead Data Engineer. This role is ideal for a technical leader with Front Office trading experience and expertise in Python, SQL, market data, and analytics, particularly within oil, agriculture, power, gas, or metals trading. You will be at the forefront of developing and optimising analytics and data solutions to support traders and analysts in making data-driven decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and enhance analytics platforms, working closely with traders, analysts, and technology teams to streamline data workflows.
- Lead development initiatives, facilitating regular stand-ups to drive progress and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Architect and implement scalable data engineering solutions, including analytics dashboards using Tableau, BI, and React.
- Automate and manage fundamental and market data releases, ensuring accuracy integrity accessibility
Integrate optimize new market sources collaborating third-party vendors expand capabilities Deploy maintain optimize cloud-based models ensuring high performance scalability reliability trading environment
