Description
Outside IR35 - Hybrid working - contract
My client are looking to recruit PL/SQL developers to contribute to the development and support of Oracle based bespoke applications (typically involving one terabyte or more of data) on a contract basis.
Responsibilities:
- Work with our software development team to design and support bespoke commercial systems.
- Design, develop and tune complex, high volume applications using the latest Oracle technologies.
- Work mainly in an Agile environment, although some work on waterfall projects may also be required.
Key Tasks:
- Coding new systems and changes using Oracle 19c, PL/SQL and/or Oracle APEX 21/JavaScript.
- Supporting system and user acceptance testing.
- Investigating potential software bugs and identifying/implementing solutions.
- Ensuring that code is written to efficiently manipulate large datasets and carrying out performance investigation and improvement work.
- Working with Rest API's.
