The Cloud Data Platforms team is part of the Insights and Data Global Practice and has seen strong growth and continued success across a variety of projects and sectors. Cloud Data Platforms is the home of the Data Engineers, Platform Engineers, Solutions Architects, and Business Analysts who are focused on driving our customers' digital and data transformation journey using modern cloud platforms. We specialize in using the latest frameworks, reference architectures, and technologies using AWS, Azure, and GCP.
Hybrid working: The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your Role
Skills
We are looking for strong Azure Solution Architects who are passionate about data solutions and Microsoft technology. Ideally have skills in many of the following areas:
- Partners with other solution architects to assess solution alignment to the overall architectural blueprint – drive proposal writing, solution direction pricing & costing.
- Owns Solution Development as liaison between Sales & Delivery teams. Serve as technical liaison between Sales team Clients Delivery & support teams up to Contract negotiations.
- Have experience designing architecture for data-focused Microsoft Azure projects.
- Cooperate with sales team to formulate / execute a sales strategy to exceed revenue objectives.
- Working on Microsoft Azure PaaS & IaaS specifically: App Services Azure SQL Database SQL Server Storage Synapse Analytics Purview Databricks Azure Data Factory Azure Data Lake. Understand which Azure data-focused components to use for which purpose.
Your Skills And Experience
Our projects are varied; sometimes you may be asked to help define a client’s data visualization transformation roadmap. Other times you may be rolling up your sleeves creating an innovative data platform for complex business problems or even assisting in responding to client bid responses.
- Knowledge of other Cloud Platforms such as AWS & GCP
- Knowledge of automation tooling such as Azure DevOps facilitating CI/CD approaches to IaC
- Knowledge of IaaS implementation Availability sets Azure Networking concepts Express Route DNS Load Balancing
- Strong skills in areas such as Docker Kubernetes IaaS PaaS SaaS
Your Security Clearance
To be successfully appointed to this role it is required that you obtain Security Check (SC) clearance. To obtain SC clearance the successful applicant must have resided continuously within the United Kingdom for last 5 years along with other criteria/requirements. Throughout recruitment process questions about security clearance eligibility will include country residence nationality etc.
