Description

We are seeking an experienced C/C++ Developer with Python proficiency for a critical role at ASML. The successful candidate will have 7 to 8 years of experience in software development, particularly in Linux-based environments. This position is based in San Diego, CA, and will require deep knowledge of both C/C++ and Python programming, as well as familiarity with system-level programming, troubleshooting, and optimization in Linux environments.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain software solutions using C/C++ and Python.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define software requirements and deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Optimize and enhance existing code for performance, scalability, and maintainability.
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve complex software issues in a Linux environment.
- Implement software features and integrate them with hardware systems.
- Work with version control systems (e.g., Git) to manage codebase and track software changes.
- Ensure software documentation is thorough and up-to-date.

Required Skills:
- Strong experience in C/C++ development in Linux environments (7+ years).
- Proficiency in Python programming.
- In-depth knowledge of Linux operating systems, including system-level programming and troubleshooting.
- Experience with debugging tools (e.g., GDB, Valgrind) and performance profiling.
- Familiarity with software development tools like Git, Make, and CMake.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, algorithms, and data structures.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
