Overview:
This is a fantastic hands-on Cloud Security Engineer/Architect opportunity with a leading London-based tech company. The position is mainly remote with occasional visits to London (2 days per month). This role is outside IR35.
Role Description:
The Cloud Security Engineer/Architect will perform a combination of InfoSec consulting and hands-on engineering around Cloud (Azure) and Snowflake. The ideal candidate must have solid experience in Snowflake as well as Azure & dbt with strong security best practices at all levels concerning cloud regulations and compliance. The focus will be on data and AI-related projects where the engineer will help design and build rapid scaling cloud environments.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure best security practices across all teams from the start.
- Work on analytics using Snowflake Cortex for ML/AI alongside CI/CD and dbt.
- Create containerized environments.
- Deploy secure Data Warehouses (DWH) with Snowflake and Cortex.
- Automate code builds and deployments through GitHub Actions integrated with Azure.
