Our Client requires a Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Project Engineer for a 12 month renewable contractProject Engineer - C&IThis role is for a dedicated Control & Instrumentation (C&I) Project Engineer that will provide vital support to the TD Manager to ensure the effective administration of multiple project work scopes. The role brings oversight to the coordination of all stages of the projects, to ensure efficient delivery.Duties IncludeCoordinate the development of scope of work documents including:Engaging terminal stakeholders to capture key project requirementsReference all available documentation to clearly articulate project requirements in concise languageIdentifying the required legislation, codes, standards, and specifications to be adhered to throughout the projectList key deliverables to be produced during the design stageEnsure effective project management controls are implemented by the design contractorCommunicate the project schedule that should be followedPartake and lead in tender events with key nominated suppliers (via dedicated frameworks)Implement good project management controls for all assigned projects including:Identifying and capturing project risks on necessary project registersCapturing lessons learned and encouraging continuous improvementMonitoring financial forecasts to ensure spend profiles are metTracking schedule performance to drive project delivery on timeActively review the quality of all design documentation produced by awarded contractors and ensure timely review by GLNG reviewersFacilitate and arrange stakeholder workshops/ engagementEnsure the scope of work is fully met and all solutions are code-compliantNotable projects to be managed by the successful candidate are:Vendor Package replacement i.e. Tank Snuffing SystemStorage Tank Control System ReplacementReplacement of obsolete actuators on legacy assetsReplacement of Fiber Optic Gas Detection System(s)Review and initial investigation of snuffing system renewal / replacementHazardous Area Compliance (BS EN 60079) associated with an LNG plant. This would include equipment selection, installation requirements and the subsequent engineering calculations & inspection requirements for sign offSupporting Process, Mechanical & Electrical Project Engineers with C&I input, typical example projects include:Instrument Air Package replacementRemote actuation of existing site manual valvesGas Flow meter replacementSupporting site HAZOP Action ClosureCondition Monitoring of rotating equipmentSafety Instrument Function ImprovementsJetty Mooring & Docking System replacements
