Company Overview:
A major European energy company is looking to hire a QA Engineer to support the quality assurance operations for their energy trading platform and tools.
Role Overview:
As a QA Engineer, you will design, execute, and review automation and manual testing for their energy trading products. This role involves working with numerical data sets and Power ETRM (Energy Trading Risk Management). The business is looking to integrate its London trading arms with its Manchester and German operations; some duties will involve testing the integration pieces.
Contract Details:
Day rate: 550 Outside IR35
Hybrid: 2 days per week to Central London
Requirements:
- Must have experience working within Commodity Trading (Front, Middle, Back Office)
- Demonstrable experience in producing, updating and executing manual and automated test cases (functional, regression, smoke, UAT, API etc)
- Experience testing numerical datasets (large data sets)
- Good experience with SQL (data mapping and data flow testing)
- Desirable experience with Power ETRM
