Overview:
Our client is going through a period of change, implementing a new Marketing Technology stack (Martech) to enhance customer engagement. We're looking for a leader who can not only architect and implement robust data solutions but also effectively communicate with stakeholders, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technical strategies. Responsibilities:
- Work closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs, translate those needs into technical requirements, and deliver solutions that drive tangible business value.
- Design, develop, and implement the data solutions that will drive our clients' marketing efforts within a blended team of analysts and engineers.
- Build data products in Snowflake, AWS and dbt.
Key Skills:
- Lead the design, development, and implementation of our cloud-based data warehouse and ETL pipelines using AWS, dbt, and Snowflake.
- Strong Data Engineering background.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to other data engineers.
- Champion best practices for data engineering including data quality, data governance, and data security.
- Experience with Martech platforms is highly desirable.
- Ability to assess existing systems and propose improvements.
- Experience working with complex datasets.
- Contribute to the development of our clients' data roadmap and strategy.
