Job Summary:
We have a requirement for a Site Engineer to work on highways improvement works just off the M5 in Somerset and to also support a project in Taunton. The role is working with a regional contractor to self-deliver the scheme including roundabout improvement, cycle way and pedestrian improvements.
Experience Required:
Previous experience of setting out roads, kerbs, drainage, surfacing works will be required. You will be the only Site Engineer on the project and working alongside an established and experienced site team.
Duties Include:
- Providing the site with accurate setting out points and levels
- Advising on technical detail and raising any technical queries
- Keeping accurate records and as-built drawings
- Working with site staff to ensure works are carried out to specification
Requirements:
Suitable candidates must have a valid CSCS card, laptop with AutoCAD, and proven experience.
