Description
Summary:
The role of Senior QA Automation Engineer (Java) involves testing and validating features for data center networks and network security. The engineer will execute test cases, collaborate with development teams, and develop automation for end-to-end solution validation. This position requires hands-on experience in Agile environments and knowledge of Java programming, particularly in automated testing for WebUI. The contract is long-term and classified as outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Test and validate features functionality and system test profiles for data center networks, network security, and routing technologies.
- Execute test cases and validate the solution end-to-end, documenting test results on performance, scale, and security.
- Collaborate with the development team to translate software requirements into high-quality test automation suites.
- Debug and troubleshoot complex issues, working closely with the engineering team on failures and validating fixes.
- Develop automation for end-to-end solution validation and integrate automation for seamless validation.
- Participate in QA within an Agile SCRUM team, focusing on WebUI automated testing using Selenium WebDriver.
- Utilize Java programming knowledge for automated testing and framework development.
- Work with containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) and test networking or telecom domain-related applications.
- Utilize CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab) and project management tools (JIRA/Confluence).
