Role Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Illustrator to develop and design an illustration system that will work seamlessly across our product and marketing initiatives. This is a contract role ideal for a passionate and experienced illustrator who thrives in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an illustration system that enhances the overall user experience and brand consistency across product and marketing.
- Design custom icons, loading states, and other illustrative UI elements that bring delight and clarity to our users.
- Work closely with product designers to ensure illustrations align with UI/UX goals and technical considerations.
- Inform and contribute to marketing illustration efforts ensuring a cohesive look and feel.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product managers developers marketers bringing ideas to life.
- Adjust work by incorporating input from data A/B tests.
- Ensure consistency adherence brand guidelines.
About You:
- Proven experience as an illustrator preferably focusing on digital products.
- Strong portfolio showcasing illustration systems UI/UX-related designs marketing assets.
- Ability build illustration systems in Figma ensuring it integrates seamlessly broader design systems.
- Understanding of product design principles ability collaborate effectively product team.
- Excellent communication skills ability present articulate design decisions.
- Experience working contract-based freelance projects is must
- Ability scale from simpler illustrations larger more detailed illustrations
- Must be able produce consistent style adhere brand guidelines
- Someone who works vector mind proficiency digital visualization tools
- Ability optimize illustration assets optimal performance produce consistent style.
