Location: Bristol (Contract) – Hybrid Work
Key Duties:
- Assist the CEL in resolving technical issues related to the equipment design, manufacturing and qualification.
- Watch the design documentation as specified in the list of documents from contractor.
- Work within the diesel system engineers as required to assure design interfaces are correct.
- Assist CEL with the management and tracking of design risks, preparation assessments.
- Answer supplier requests.
- Assist the CEL with configuration management.
- Manage interfaces between contractors' equipment with the scope of supply and interfacing systems.
Requirements:
- Bachelors / Masters’ degree in related engineering fields.
- Knowledge and experience with some of the following equipment: Instrumentation / Pressure Equipment (Valves and tanks) / Fitters / Piping and ducting / Rotating Equipment (Motors, Pumps and Compressors) / Heat Exchangers.
- Experience with Diesel Generators.
- Some project management / engineering experience.
- Nuclear experience.
- Knowledge of UK regulatory requirements (CDM, COSHH, IRR, etc).
- Experience with British ISO standards.
