Role Overview:
We are seeking two experienced Full-Stack Developers proficient in Java and Python to join our dynamic team. The successful candidates will have a strong background in prototyping and a proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions. You will be instrumental in addressing the challenges faced by individuals with long-term health conditions or disabilities, helping us enhance the integration and delivery of essential public services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to map the current overall user journey.
- Design and establish a vision for an improved 'to be' user journey that effectively addresses the needs of service users.
- Evaluate options available to the Central Digital and Data Office (CDDO) aimed at enhancing the overall experience for users.
- Develop a comprehensive roadmap for the transformation of public services.
- Build, test, and maintain robust applications using Java and Python.
- Contribute to all phases of the development lifecycle, from planning to deployment and maintenance.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a full-stack developer with proficiency in Java and Python.
- Previous experience in prototyping and designing user-centric solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for improving public services.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
