Location: Remote during the advance, and onsite in Brockwell Park over the show dates outlined below.
Availability:
- Advancing: 16 days between W/C 17th Feb and W/C 19th May (approx 1 day a week until May, and then advance increases to approx 2 days a week in May)
- 16 x days advance at £200 per day
- Brockwell Live & Lambeth Country Show onsite:
- 1 day onsite during the build to check access facilities / set up (Weds 21st or Thurs 22nd May)
- Friday 23rd May - Monday 26th May
- Wednesday 28th May
- Saturday 31st May - Sunday 1st June
- Saturday 7th June - Sunday 8th June
- Total of10 days onsite at £250 per day

About the Role:
GMC Events is seeking an Accessibility Manager to assist with the delivery of Brockwell Live and Lambeth Country Show. You’ll support the Senior Operations Manager and Operations Manager with advancing the accessibility department, monitoring the access customer inbox during the lead up to the show, and prepare access advance information for customers. During the onsite phase, you will be on-the-ground point of contact for all access customers, leading a team of access assistants, and ensuring that access customers have the best experience possible at each show.

Key Responsibilities:
Advance:
- Main point of contact for all access enquiries specifically member ofthe public/ticketholders withaccess requirements duringthe advance.
- Monitorand stay on topof accessibility email inbox weeklyfor any new correspondenceand aimto reply within5 workingdays.
- Workwiththe operations teamto recruitaccess assistants thatwillbe supporting this roleonsite.
- Reviewaccess applicationsand confirmwithcustomers if theiraccess request forms have been successful,and explain why if theyhave notbeensuccessful.
- Reviewaccess facilitiesbookedfor thesiteand ensurethe infrastructureissufficientbasedon amountofaccesscustomersand anyoftheir specificrequirements.
- WorkunderAttitude is Everythingguidanceand monitorbest practiceelements whilst filling outcharter award report,to submitpostshow.
- Ensureall appropriate accreditationfor accesscustomers hasbeen orderedwithaccreditation manager.
- Manageanyaccess partners thathave been broughton boardinlead upto eventwhileonsite.
- Createcustomeradvance arrival packswithcleardetailon routesto festival sitewhere accesstoiletsare located,and anyfurther information.
- Liaise withOperations teambiweeklyon numberofapplicationsincluding Blue Badge parking applications,giveamplenoticewhen AVP requestsare reachingcapacity.
Onsite:
- Ensuringall accessfacilitieshavebeen installed,familiarisewith thesite layoutattend pre-eventbriefings.
-Mainpointofcontactonsiteforallaccesscustomersduringlive eventdates.
-Manageteamofaccessassistantsincluding briefingandscheduletheir shifts.
-Ensuingacesscustomersreceivethe correct accreditationuponarrival.
RespondingtoanyradiocallsfromEventControlregarding accessibilityissuesor accescustomers.Collatefeedbackfrom customerspost-eventsharewider teams.
Qualifications & Skills:
Essential:
-Minumumof3 yearsof experienceworkinginliveeventsorsimilar.Youmusthavecarriedoutan accessibilitymanagerroleonothergreenfieldsites.Excellentknowledgeof accessibilitybestpracticeatEvents.Strongorganisationalskillswithabilitytomanagemultiplecompetingpriorities.Adaptableproactive abilitytopickupnewprocessesquickly.StrongskillsinGoogleSheets.Positiveattitudestrongwork ethic.Excellentcommunicationskills.
Desirable:
First Aid certification.H&S trainingorqualifications.Validdrivinglicence.
