Role Overview
- The role holder will manage complex contracts, preferably with experience in civil engineering projects.
- The position is outside IR35.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and review tenders for complex packages of work and recommend awards based on a comprehensive review of submitted tenders.
- Manage supplier payment applications.
- Handle contractual changes, including Early Warnings and Compensation events.
- Conduct cost forecasting and cost reporting.
- Utilize electronic sourcing software such as SAP, Ariba, and Cemar.
Experience and Qualifications
- Proven track record of working in an environment where Health, Safety, and Environment are a priority.
- Successful track record of working in the Construction Industry, developing main and sub-contracting strategies, and working with strong stakeholder groups.
- Demonstrable depth of procurement experience of at least 10 years in a post-contract managed environment using NEC forms of contract.
- Good working knowledge of EU procurement methodologies and UCR (Utilities Contracts Regulations).
- Ideally 3 years of relevant post-contract management experience with the ability to work across multiple contracts simultaneously.
- Demonstrable experience of managing complex contracts and working with suppliers through SLA and KPI performance, including experience with dispute resolution and claims management.
