Client Information:
- Global Insurance firm
Contract Details:
- Outside IR35
- Hybrid working
- Client site based in London
Team Information:
- Part of a dedicated IT M&A Integration team
- Responsible for the delivery of an international integration programme
Role Overview:
- Hands-on Architect role
- Provide design support and engineering across on-premises infrastructure & Microsoft cloud technologies
- Work on multiple projects
Requirements:
- Experience and understanding of large infrastructure deployments in enterprise-wide environments
- Experience working with Microsoft Azure Solutions
- Strong understanding of Cloud native architecture principles
- In-depth experience architecting complex Azure public/private Cloud platform solutions (PaaS, SaaS, IaaS)
Responsibilities:
1. Design and deploy Azure infrastructure enterprise level projects for hosting business application services.
2. Collaborate closely with application, network, and security teams to ensure requirements are reflected appropriately in the Azure design.
3. Design, test, and implement application services migrations both manually and automatically.
4. Work closely with client operational resources to update their on-premise practices to include cloud.
Beneficial Experience:
- Insurance industry experience
- Business Mergers & Acquisitions experience
- Overseeing M365 architecture and Azure infrastructure across various projects
- Involvement in M365 tenant to tenant migration projects
- Infrastructure migrations
