PROJECT ENGINEER - CONTRACTUAL COMPLIANCE

Role
To support the Naval Business Director with all elements of project execution which includes project engineering, customer liaison, project purchasing, expediting, production engineering & testing. The role will require the ability to undertake deliverables for multiple projects and embrace accountability for ensuring that work is executed to agreed contractual obligations.
Responsibilities
- Create and track activities against project plan.
- Continually update plans and identify risk areas.
- Develop contingency plans to address risk mitigation.
- Liaise with the project team to ensure specifications and commercial requirements are clearly understood.
- Ensure timeframes are met.
- Prepare monthly contract cost-to-date and forecast.
- Interface with Finance Department ensuring milestones are invoiced in a timely manner.
Qualifications
You should be familiar with product design and test principles and comfortable with adherence to project milestones. Naturally meticulous to ensure all internal documentation & drawings are correct and fit for purpose - Document Controller experience would be a distinct advantage. Fully conversant with project management tools; data capture; maintenance thereof.
