Role Overview:
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with a background in utilities to join our team on an initial 3-month contract. This role will be delivered in an agile/hybrid working environment, with minimal office attendance (1-2 days per month).
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and deliver IT projects within the utilities sector, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Work within an agile/hybrid project delivery framework to drive successful outcomes.
- Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define project scope, timelines, and deliverables.
- Manage risks, dependencies, and project governance.
- Ensure effective communication between teams, vendors, and senior management.
- Drive best practices in IT project management, adapting to evolving business needs.
Essential Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience as an IT Project Manager in the utilities sector.
- Strong understanding of agile/hybrid project delivery methodologies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently while maintaining strong collaboration with remote teams.
- UK-based and able to attend the office 1-2 days per month.
Desirable Skills:
- Experience with Maximo or similar platforms (preferred but not essential).
- Strong technical awareness and experience managing IT platform implementations.
