The Role
This position will involve administering and optimizing Windows RDS, Linux servers, Oracle databases managing AWS networking enforcing security best practices supporting system upgrades collaborating with IT teams for seamless operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer monitor troubleshoot Windows Remote Desktop Services (RDS) environments ensuring optimal performance security.
- Manage maintain Linux-based servers including patching scripting performance tuning.
- Support optimize Oracle databases related infrastructure ensuring high availability efficiency.
- Perform proactive monitoring performance tuning troubleshooting across all systems.
- Implement enforce security best practices for Windows Linux Oracle environments.
- Manage AWS networking configurations including VPCs security groups connectivity.
- Assist in system upgrades migrations disaster recovery planning.
- Document system configurations processes troubleshooting guides.
- Work closely with other IT teams ensure seamless integration operation all infrastructure components.
About You
- Proven experience as a System Administrator in a hands-on role.
- Strong expertise in Windows Server administration particularly Remote Desktop Services (RDS).
- Proficiency in Linux administration (Red Hat Ubuntu or CentOS preferred).
- Experience managing troubleshooting Oracle databases infrastructure.
- Knowledge networking concepts including TCP/IP DNS VPNs firewalls.
- Familiarity with AWS networking (VPC Route 53 security groups etc.) is a plus.
- Strong scripting abilities PowerShell Bash or Python.
- Experience monitoring tools proactive system management.
- Ability work independently manage multiple priorities fast-paced environment.
- Experience Active Directory Group Policy Identity Management
- Familiarity virtualization technologies VMware Hyper-V
- Knowledge backup disaster recovery strategies.
