My client is one of the most prestigious in the UK, they have come to me and asked me to find a Logistics Manager for a role which starts ASAP based in Sevenoaks.
Position: Logistics Manager (Temp)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and coordinate all logistical issues which will include managing all labour/ handy men /TM's, managing all deliveries/ collections, liaise with local neighbours and the local authority to suit the needs of the Project.
- Undertake Smartwaste updates to ensure compliance.
- Formulate, implement, develop and review the project logistics plan including delivery, waste, traffic and emergency management plans.
- Maintain and upkeep existing project accommodation/welfare facilities; establish additional facilities as required by the project.
- Maintain and upkeep project perimeter site hoarding; manage alterations and planned moves according to ongoing construction works/operations.
- On-site management of all logistical issues including but not limited to - Deliveries, Plant & Traffic Movements, Waste Management and Attendant Support Labour Workforce.
- Manage installation, operation and dismantling of Tower Cranes required on the project; serve as main point of contact for Tower Crane Drivers.
- Manage Mobile Cranes required for site works as needed.
- Establish Hoisting Strategy; implement management/control of Goods/Passenger Hoisting Facilities including provision of Drivers.
- Manage traffic marshals and all labourers.
- Oversee management of gates and gate personnel.
Qualifications:
Ideally a Logistics Manager with circa 5+ years in the role.
