Description
Position Overview
This flexible, remote position reports to our Apprenticeship and Training Lead and is a really unique opportunity to make a change for good by improving the quality of skills in the Tech sector. Up to 30 hours a month with job share options available. We are looking to recruit an industry competent professional who is interested in training the next generation of digital talent. If you are looking for your first step into training and coaching or if you already have some experience in the field, we would love to hear from you. There may also be opportunities to travel within the region and work occasional weekends. We often attend events, camps and conferences and sprints and run community events such as meetups and hackathons.
About You
The Coders Guild is committed to empowering people to achieve their full potential. We believe that CVs only tell us what you have done and not what you are capable of; so whilst we welcome CVs, we would love to hear about any of the following either on your CV or in your application.
All of our technical trainers are people who are currently working in the fields they train. Ideally, you will have some experience delivering training previouslyโmaybe to colleagues or perhaps in a more formal setting; this could be on educational programs or training/mentoring colleagues or clients in the workplace. If you do, that would be great, but we also have the resources and people to help you make those first steps into delivering real value with training and coaching. The most important thing is that you have knowledge and experience that you would like to share. We are looking for people who have a real passion for the industry and want to share that passion with the next wave of people looking to work in the industry.
