Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, review, and execute detailed test cases based on both business and technical requirements.
- Perform manual testing on web and mobile applications (iOS & Android).
- Identify, document, and report defects using Jira or other bug-tracking tools.
- Conduct a variety of testing types, including functional, UI/UX, regression, smoke, exploratory, compatibility, and usability testing.
- Collaborate closely with developers and product teams to understand requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
- Validate fixes and re-test to ensure issues are resolved to satisfaction.
- Maintain and update test documentation, ensuring that it is accurate and up-to-date.
- Provide insights and suggestions for improving test strategies, and help identify potential opportunities for automation.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 2-5 years of experience in manual testing of web and mobile applications.
- Strong understanding of test case design techniques and test execution.
- Hands-on experience using bug-tracking and test management tools like Jira.
- Solid knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
- Proficient in cross-browser and cross-device testing.
- Familiarity with API testing using tools like Postman.
- Experience with Agile methodologiesand participation in scrum meetings.
- Exposure to basic automation concepts (e.g., Selenium, Appium) is a plus but not required.
- Experience working with remoteand distributed teams.
