What will this role achieve
This role will be responsible for leading the digital transformation initiatives within the finance department, ensuring that all financial processes are streamlined and optimised for efficiency, playing a pivotal role to enable our growth journey.
What will be your key deliverables?
- Strategic Planning & Vision – lead the strategic roadmap for finance data transformation for the next 3 years with IT, including building the business case for capital approval. Likely to include but not limited to:
- Automate the allocation of costs lines into products such that actuals and forecast can be analysed (sku profitability)
- Leveraging AI for optimisation of promotions working with an external partner
- Work with IT and Finance Reporting manager to develop and implement current excel reporting into a suite of Power BI tools that require no or minimal human intervention
- Process Improvement – review and prioritise processes for simplification/ digital transformation across the finance function
- Technology Integration – leveraging of technology to automate processes and flow of information. Including leading the scoping of SAP upgrade for the UK&I finance function working with IT and global colleagues to create an investment case assessing breadth of depth of upgrade opportunities
- Change and Project Management – management and embedding of the process and system improvement
- Stakeholder Engagement – Engage with stakeholders across the business, both inside and outside of the finance function

Essential:
- Ability to influence and work collaboratively across the organisation.
- Ability to work effectively with ambiguity, able to drive agenda forward.
- Creative thinking
- SAP Finance experience (desirable across ECC6and S4/HANA)
Desirable:
- Previous Finance Transformation Experience
- Demonstrate experience of bringing new ways of working to simplify working practices whilst delivering on day job
- Accountancy qualification desirable but not essential (ACCA/ACA/CIMA)
