As a rapidly moving start-up, this role could lead to further opportunities and offers work at the cutting-edge of wireless IoT applications.Role This is a contract/short-term hybrid role for an Embedded Hardware Engineer developing low-power wireless sensors, for use in industrial applications. You will develop hardware and firmware for Arm/RISC-V-based wireless SoCs, integrated with proprietary wireless power transfer and energy-constrained sensing techniques. You will also interact with the research team at the University of Glasgow.QualificationsDegree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent experiencePCB design skills including layout/schematic; experience with mechanical housing is a plus.Firmware (embedded C) development. Experience with ST, TI, and Nordic MCUs is desirableHands-on testing, assembly, and debugging skills (oscilloscopes, DC power analysis)Ability to work independently and in a changing/dynamic environmentExperience with wireless IoT protocols is a plusHost scripting/programming in Python is a plus
