Microsoft 365 Administrator 6 months Outside IR35 - £350-400pd

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Microsoft 365 Administrator to support our upcoming projects. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Microsoft 365 services and applications, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent communication abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee SharePoint migrations and decommissioning of G Suite.
- Handle various aspects of Microsoft 365 and related technologies such as Azure Active Directory and PowerShell scripting.
- Manage and administer the Microsoft 365 tenant, including Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
- Monitor and maintain the health and performance of the Microsoft 365 environment.
- Implement and enforce security policies and compliance measures.
- Perform regular audits and assessments to ensure adherence to best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell scripts to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Microsoft 365-related issues.
- Collaborate with other IT teams to integrate Microsoft 365 services with existing systems and applications.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Microsoft 365 features, updates, and best practices.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in PowerShell scripting for automation and administration tasks.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 services and administration.
- Experience with Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, Teams, and OneDrive for Business.
- Familiarity with security and compliance standards related to Microsoft 365.
- Knowledge of Azure Active Directory and related services.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Endpoint Manager (Intune) for device management.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (e.g., DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP).
- Experience with identity and access management, including multi-factor authentication (MFA) and conditional access policies.
- Familiarity with data loss prevention (DLP) policies and information protection.
- Experience with hybrid environments and migration to Microsoft 365.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Microsoft 365 Administrator or similar role.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Microsoft 365 Certified: Enterprise Administrator Expert or similar certification.
- Knowledge of scripting languages such as Python or JavaScript.
- Experience with automation tools like Microsoft Power Automate.
- Willingness to report onsite 2-4 times a month to the Gloucester office.
Work Arrangement:
This role will be for a minimum of 6 months with a project scope of 12 months. It can be completed on a fully remote basis, but the ideal candidate would be willing to come onsite to the Gloucester office 2-4 times a month.
Compensation:
Outside of IR35, paying between (apply online only) per day.
