The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking an experienced and results-driven Lead Business Analyst for an initial 6-month contract opportunity, outside-IR35. This role will focus on supporting high-profile Government Digital Services (GDS) projects, with a specific emphasis on Beta phase delivery. Contract Details:
- Remote Working
- Six month contract (initially)
- £525 per day (Outside-IR35)
Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within public sector or government-focused digital projects
- Strong experience with Government Digital Service (GDS) standards and the Beta phase of digital projects
- Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into clear, actionable requirements, including user stories and functional specifications
- Experience leading workshops and engaging with diverse stakeholders to gather and prioritize business requirements
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban, in a digital service delivery context
Role and Responsibilities:
Consulting as a Lead Business Analyst, you will work alongside cross-functional teams, applying GDS methodologies and ensuring that digital solutions meet both business and user requirements.
- You’ll be responsible for leading the analysis process throughout the Beta phase, engaging with stakeholders and ensuring compliance with GDS standards.
- You will be leading and facilitating workshops to gather, document and prioritize business requirements for GDS-compliant digital services; whilst overseeing the Beta phase of their digital service journey, ensuring solutions are user-centered, functional and meet government standards.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must have a minimum of three previous GDS-related projects for this role.
- Willingness to undergo a basic level of security clearance prior to starting the role.
