Description
We are currently looking to onboard a Business Analyst / Project Manager to work within the Finance Product team at a well-known professional certification firm. This is an initial contract requirement with potential for extension and the role is fully remote so we are able to consider individuals located anywhere within the UK. This role can also be considered outside IR35.
Overview
The Finance Product team requires a BA/PM to provide oversight and management to specific deliverables around the implementation and support of Netsuite and general oversight of the financial ecosystem including reporting.
Key Responsibilities
β’ Oversight and ownership for BA focused responsibilities around the revenue recognition changes and flows, from βPoint of Saleβ capture (Commerce), through to Netsuite and NSAW (Netsuite Analytics Warehouse) for reporting.
β’ Gather and document business requirements and objectives for the Finance reporting / internal Business MI through a variety of methods including interviews, workshops, surveys, and analysis of existing documents.
β’ Scrutinize and confirm the clarity, completeness, consistency, and alignment of business requirements with organizational goals.
β’ Craft user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases in accordance with agile principles and methodologies.
β’ Collaborate with technical teams and business stakeholders to refine and prioritize user stories and the product backlog.
β’ Engage in sprint planning, review, and retrospective sessions, offering insights and feedback to both technical teams and business stakeholders.
β’ Execute user acceptance and functional testing to ensure the netsuite platform meets defined business requirements.
β’ Proactively identify and communicate any potential issues, risks, or alterations that may impact project scope, timeline, or quality.
β’ Provide training and ongoing support to business users to facilitate effective utilization of the Netsuite platform.
Key Requirements
β’ Thorough understanding of finance business operations, including product, order, inventory,and customer management, as well as marketing and analytics.
β’ Extensive knowledge of oracle customization and configuration capabilities, encompassing themes, apps, integrations, APIs, and webhooks.
β’ Skilled in crafting user stories, acceptance criteria, and test cases, leveraging agile methodologies and tools such as Jira, Confluence, or Trello.
β’ Exceptional communication, collaboration, and problem-solving abilities, enabling effective interaction with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
β’ Meticulous attention to detail, quality, and precision, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery of outcomes.
