Company Overview
Our sister company Stellarmann is looking for a contract Business Analyst to create a data governance function responsible for the governance of structured and unstructured data at our client. The function will be supported by new technology tools to operate data governance processes at the scale needed.

Key Responsibilities
- End-to-end delivery cycle
- Build out the governance framework, strategy, define what it looks like and help to shape and steer
- Experience in data governance implementations in unstructured environments.
- Previously delivered Data Governance from scratch, including how to capture and put structure around it.
- Governance across big IT projects.
- Confident to deliver the work with limited steering.
- Data from an InfoSec perspective - how to structure and put it into InfoSec frameworks.
- Help ensure tech tools are delivering those governance processes.

Technical Skills & Requirements
- Requirements gathering, data domain modelling, reference data definition, data glossaries, data mapping, data flow diagrams, classifications.
- Tech project alongside the governance piece.
- Ideally Azure Data Stack, Purview or Collibra, 365 experience.
- Experience in designing and building data catalogues.
- User story work/BDD.

Contract Details
This contract will run for 6 months initially, paying £600 - £675 per day outside IR35, depending on experience and skill level. The position offers hybrid working, requiring 2 days per week in office (3 when needed).
