We are currently seeking an Indirect Buyer, reporting directly to the Procurement Manager, to join our Procurement team based in either London or Milton Keynes, England, UK.

About The Mission We Offer You
The Indirect Buyer will ensure the follow-up of quotes and negotiation of non-strategic purchases. To issue orders in accordance with the needs expressed by the requestor and negotiation of non-strategic purchases and to coordinate invoicing.

Main Accountabilities
- Participates in defining procurement strategies and activities to mitigate risk together with the indirect procurement manager.
- Fulfils inquiries and purchasing activities within time and budget.
- Assembles all information necessary for issuing an inquiry.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams including but not limited to Information Technology (IT), Engineering, Project management Legal Finance & Logistics.
- Expedites bids conducts all negotiations with local UK vendors Contingent workers.
- Support Buyers within the team.
- Maintains effective communication relationships with external suppliers.

Responsibilities
- Proven experience in a similar role within procurement or supply chain management in various Indirect Procurement (IP) categories
- A strong understanding of procurement principles project procurement strategies.
- Request quotes negotiate with suppliers for non-strategic categories according delegation procedure.
- Issue orders within scope ensure their follow-up including issuance amendments if necessary (in coordination Buyer).
- Enter data into dedicated Purchasing management databases/tools: Document tracking internal approval management ERP (order creation commitment tracking accounting level validation invoices) or other external platforms.
- Ensure interface requestors internal stakeholders (Requesting Services Management Control Accounting Support Tools GBS other entities group) or external stakeholders (suppliers if applicable).
- Manage monitor approval flow Purchasing deliverables (Orders invoices etc.).
- Ensure coordination monitoring GBS India's invoicing performance accordance contractual conditions orders.
- Participate creation implementation procedures processes continuous improvement.
- Participate development support performance indicators KPIs monitoring tables statistics/activity reports Service decision support formats purchasing family.

Qualifications
- Entry level procurement background administrative background
- Technical diploma relevant degree/diploma
- Excellent negotiation listening skills
- Organizational abilities curiosity problem solver target-orientated rigorous respectful deadlines.
